Wedding Photographer
There's five of us in my household, myself, my husband Stephen, my two boys Mikey and Sonny and not forgetting my wee dog Chase. I've always loved taking photographs with my phone. The kids are always moaning because i spot a photo opportunity a mile off and get them to pose for me at least 50 times on an outing. One day a family member was looking through my photographs on social media and suggested i try and do something with my skills. I've never been a confident person so the thought of directing big crowds at a wedding was a no no! But after the death of a close family member, i realised that life is too short and that if you enjoy and want something - you should go and get it! Which is exactly what i did. I bought my first proper camera and started off by photographing a work colleague's wedding and have never looked back since.I'm constantly pushing myself out of my comfort zone and i love it! I still have a 9-5 job during the week but hopefully one day - i can take the plunge and carry on my photography full time.

My approach
I think of myself as more of a documentary style wedding photographer. My thoughts on the matter is that you have spent a lot of money and time organising your big day, so i don't want to be dragging you away for hours on end posing for photographs. I think the best photographs are the natural unposed kind. Therefore, i like to disappear into the background and let you get on with your day whilst i capture all of the wee candid moments.
